Arts in the House, Move on UP! is a remarkable collaboration with IMMOFINANZ and myhive Pankrác House. Louise Beer, founder and director of PragArtworks, has brought together a diverse group of contemporary Czech artists to create an exclusive exhibition in the heart of Prague.
The exhibition showcases artworks in the urban office spaces of Pankrac House. This industrial environment is unconventional yet presents the perfect setting to showcase the wide range of contemporary works on display.
The pop-up gallery not only offers a space for the artists to display their works, but also fosters a sense of kinship and community. Connecting the artists to their audience and creating an inviting atmosphere is what PragArtworks has set out to achieve since it was established in 2017.
The group of artists exhibited are not a traditional artisticgroup by any means. They differ in subject matter, medium, technique and style. What they do have is a sense of affinity that has developed organically out of years of friendship. This fosters a dialogue of artistic advice, criticism, support and an atmosphere of creativity. For many of the artists this is the third time that Louise has brought them together to exhibit side by side. PragArtworks would also like to offer a special welcome to Václav Bláha, Ivan Ouhel and Šárka Radová.
